Fume Hood for Laboratories
Made of high-quality stainless steel with safety glass, the PathHood fume hood is a compact table top device for safe working with chemicals. It is a great solution for various applications in medical, biological or chemical laboratories. The perforated stainless steel surface is illuminated with pleasant LED light and enables manual microscope slide coverslipping, histological and pathological preparations, or the filling and decantation of solvents in a safe environment. The PathHood is also ideal for removing and preparing mailed-in tissue samples.
With water connection and LED
For exhaust ventilation, the PathHood can be connected to existing ventilation systems and thus extract vapors and aerosols generated during the process directly from the workplace. This significantly reduces the pollution of the laboratory environment. The exhaustion happens from below as well as from the back wall and can be adjusted manually as required. Additonally, the PathHood comes with a water connection. A metal mesh is placed under the smooth-running water tap, and a collecting basin with a drain is positioned below the work surface. It can either be connected to the wastewater system or to a collecting container.
